Things To Consider when renting or buying your new Shops/office

 

  • Budget

 

Cost is likely your big concern. Don’t choose an office that is going to put your business too far into debt and stunt its growth. Crunch the numbers before you even start looking to find a budget that will allow you to find an office you like but is also affordable.

 

  • Space

 

You will need an enough space for the members of your team and the retails your going to sell(if its for a shop). But you don’t want something so large that you’re paying for entire rooms that you never use. However, a bit of extra space can be a good thing, especially if you plan to grow within the length of your lease. Even a few extra cubicle spaces or some room to add a few retails can be helpful.

 

  • Is the location convenient for your employees or future employees?

 

If it is absolutely essential for you to have a dedicated shop space, then the location is likely your most important consideration when renting your shop space. You first need to ensure that the office will be close enough for your retailers to commute. Or choose an office that is close enough to an area that’s populated with potential talent.

 

  • Is the location convenient for your clients?

 

You also have to keep clients in mind when choosing a location. Is the shop building you’re considering easily accessible from freeways or public transportation? Will they be able to find it easily?

 

  • Security

 

The building itself should offer some amenities as well. To keep you and your equipment safe and secure, find out if the building has a security guard, manned entry way and after-hours security.

 

  • Is there parking available?

 

Parking is another important factor that might be overlooked when renting office spaces. You need to make sure there are enough parking spaces nearby so that your clients can actually get to you without too much hustle. A secure parking lot or dedicated area is a plus. 

 

  • Lighting  & ventilation 

 

Lighting may seem a small factor on the visualization of your shop, but its not. The visualization of the retail shop is also a part of your business’s profitability ,for example if your opening a new shop space and imagine there is no sun light and all the room is darky and you have to turn the lights on even in the morning, it will not be engaging and interesting right? And even it is going to cost you extra for the electricity. Especially for working spaces good ventilation is necessary. Our brains function a lot better when exposed t proper ventilation.
